Supplements for higher-quality trains are not collected for dogs; the price is the same on all trains. The dog must wear a safety muzzle and must be kept on a short leash. The dog may not be transported in a seat.
The transport of dogs, except for guide dogs of blind holders of a ZTP/P card and assistance dogs, is excluded in restaurant carriages and in carriages (compartments) reserved for transporting passengers with children up to 10 years of age, and is restricted in sleeper and couchette carriages.
Guide and Assistance Dogs
Guide dogs of blind holders of a ZTP/P (severe health disability requiring a guide) card and assistance dogs are transported free of charge; they are not required to wear a muzzle and their transport may be neither excluded nor refused.

The transport of a pram is free when there is an accompanying child and has priority over other oversized luggage when boarding concurrently. A pram without a child can be transported as oversized luggage for CZK 25 to the train’s destination station (for repeated transport a one-day pass is available for CZK 50). For trains appearing in the timetable with a slash (change of the train number during the journey) the destination station is the final station of the last train.

Option 1 – Transport a Bicycle as Oversized Luggage
The transportation of bicycles as oversized luggage is permitted on all trains marked in the timetable with a bicycle symbol. The fee for transporting a bicycle on such trains is CZK 25. If you transfer to a different train, it will be necessary to pay again. A one-day pass for transporting a bicycle as oversized luggage is available for CZK 50.
It is also possible to transport bicycle as oversized luggage on passenger trains, limited-stop trains, fast trains and express trains not marked with the bicycle symbol (does not apply to trains offering transport of oversized luggage or the luggage storage during transit service) in the entry areas of the first and last doors of the train. A maximum of two bicycles at any given time may be stored here (unless this is forbidden for technical or safety reasons). Also in this case the price for transport on one train is CZK 25 and the price of a one-day pass is CZK 50. Transport bycicles as registered luggage not allowed on trains marked with scratched bicycle symbol.
Option 2 – Transport a Bicycle as Luggage Stored during Transit
On trains marked in the timetable with a suitcase symbol, a bicycle may be stored during transit. Where? In carriages marked with the same symbol. The advantage of this service is that a bicycle is under the supervision of the conductor and thus you do not have to worry that during transit the bicycle may fall over, get broken or harm someone in the worst case.
The price for storing one bicycle on one train is CZK 30 and it is necessary to pay again upon transfer to another train. A one-day pass is available for CZK 60 (this document is also valid for transporting a bicycle as oversized luggage).

Reservations for a Bicycle
On selected trains reservations for a bicycle are possible, while on others they are required. How does one recognise them? On trains with expanded capacity for transporting bicycles (bicycles as oversized luggage) marked in the timetable with a bicycle in a circle, it is possible to reserve a place for a bicycle. Trains where it is necessary to reserve a place for your bicycle are marked in the timetable with the symbol of a bicycle in a frame.
It is similar for trains with the luggage storage during transit service. For trains marked in the timetable with the symbol of a suitcase in a circle it is possible to purchase a reservation for a bicycle; where reservations are required trains are marked with a suitcase in a frame.
You can make a reservation up to 2 months in advance. The sale of reservations for trains on which it is possible to reserve places for bicycles always ends two hours prior to the train’s departure from the originating station. The sale of reservations for international trains with required reservations for bicycles usually ends at the time of the train’s departure from the originating station. The sale of reservations for inland trains with required reservations always ends at the time of the train’s departure from the passenger’s boarding station.
The reservation document always bears the number of the carriage of the specific train for which the reservation was made. With your reservation it is necessary to purchase a transport document for the bicycle (e.g. a receipt for luggage storage during transit, a transport document for a bicycle as oversized luggage or an international bicycle transport receipt).
If you board a train in which bicycle reservations are required, you will pay an additional surcharge of CZK 100 for having failed to make a bicycle reservation prior to boarding the train.

The passenger hands over the pram (without a child) for storage directly to the conductor in the marked carriage. We recommend removing all easily detachable parts of the pram prior to handover for storage as we are not responsible for their loss or damage. The customer will pay CZK 30 in the train for each stored item. A one-day pass costs CZK 60. Stored items are returned by the conductor aboard the train upon presentation of the storage receipt.
